A Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) is a legally defined, temporary restriction of airspace issued by the FAA to prohibit unauthorized aircraft—including drones—from flying in a specific area. They are commonly used for safety or security reasons, such as VIP movement, natural disasters, and major sporting events, and are communicated to pilots via Notices to Airmen

What this means for us is anytime a launch is soon to come, a TFR will be posted. During maned missions all flights are grounded. During standard launches we typically can still fly, however we cannot enter the restriction area where we conduct our Kennedy space center tour.

Falcon 9 launches have TFRs, with this in mind we cannot conduct flights over the shuttle facility or surrounding areas. However we have other options on such days for our extended and see-it-all tours.
